WAON is written in Japanese as "和音".

和音 means "a cord" combined with the two Chinese characters 和(harmony) and 音(sound). 和 also means Japan(ese).

We thought WAON would be a perfect store name because:

"Even though we offer varieties of Japanese items, each one of them can combine together and make beautiful harmony".

WAON offers Japanese artcrafts, such as like pottery, dyed fabrics, woodcrafts and many more. We would like you to know more about Japanese culture through our beautiful, unique and traditional items.
